The Register of Independent Professional Agronomists.

Aims

A number of people in the Turfgrass industry have been aware for some time of the need for a Register of independent individuals or firms able to provide consultancy services.

The RIPTA register is maintained and supplied on request to anyone with a need for such consultancy services and is intended to include only those meeting certain criteria. The register, provided free of charge, is maintained by the Register Administrator (currently Dr Tim Lodge).

The Register Administrator accepts no responsibility, of any nature, to those making use of the Register. It is not a list of approved Consultants, but merely one of independent agronomists who have the qualifications and experience in accordance with set criteria.

There are many other Consultants in this field including some associated with particular suppliers or manufacturers and the omission from the Register of any consultancy is no indication that it does not provide an excellent service.
